Looking ahead to 2027: a team from Argentina is coming to build
In January a team from Argentina arrives to build the mission house and the Sitchan Samba school with earth blocks.
By the Lord's grace, we have reasons to look to the future with hope.
God willing, in January 2027 a mission team from Argentina will arrive to work on building the mission house and the school in Sitchan Samba, using compressed earth blocks. Two young men we hired to make the blocks will work alongside them: 8,000 are needed.
Water opened a door
Sitchan Samba is a Muslim village that welcomed us with open arms after we were able to put in a water well. The water opened a door, but it was the relationships built with the community that allowed us to begin sharing the love of Jesus as well.
We keep believing that God is preparing the way, and that every small work —a well, a medical consultation, a class, a word of encouragement, discipleship— can become a seed for eternity.
Let's pray for
- The team travelling in January and the two young men who will make the blocks.
- The construction of the mission house and the school.
- The financial, material and human resources that are needed.
- That God will keep opening doors in Sitchan Samba and in many Fulani villages of Guinea-Bissau.
