Health, education and light for a people in darkness
Among the Fulani, one of the least reached peoples in Africa, we bring medical care, a school, a glass of milk and the love of Jesus to the village of Sitchan Samba.

Why the Fulani?
A people of millions, with almost no witness
- The Fulani are an African people of millions who share one language and live in ten countries south of the Sahara.
- During the Islamic expansion they were among the first groups to adopt Islam as their religious and political foundation.
- Only 0.02% of the Fulani are Christians.
- In Guinea-Bissau, a Portuguese-speaking country, there are about 600,000 Fulani.
That is our goal: if we help solve this in a couple of villages, they can become a contagious model for the rest of the Fula communities.
What we do
Water opened a door
Sitchan Samba is a Muslim village that welcomed us with open arms after we were able to dig a water well. Since then, every consultation, every class and every glass of milk is a way of showing God’s love.
School
Classes at the Sitchan Samba school began with about 80 children, where almost no one can read or write. Umaro, a Fulani teacher who came to know Christ, is in charge, with Ivanildo alongside him.
A glass of milk
We want to give the schoolchildren a glass of milk at least every other day. Milk for the body and the Word for the soul.
Building with the earth
With a compressing machine we make earth blocks (CEB) to build the mission house, the school and the health centre. It also teaches young people in the village a trade and gives them work.

Looking ahead to 2027: a team from Argentina is coming to build
In January a team from Argentina arrives to build the mission house and the Sitchan Samba school with earth blocks.
Fruit of discipleship
Ivanildo and Genabu are walking with girls from the village in faith and in learning to read. One of them decided to be baptised.
We've started making compressed earth blocks
With a block press we make CEBs to build the mission house, the school and the health centre, and we teach young people a trade.
Who we are
One team, one calling
This work does not belong to one person. We are African and Argentine missionaries who live and serve in Guinea-Bissau, and a network of brothers and sisters who pray and give from afar.
In the village

Missionaries in Sitchan Samba
They live in the village with their daughters Dorcas, Ivana and Normita. They are the mission’s daily presence: they support the school and disciple children and teenagers.

A Fulani who came to know Christ, he now teaches about 80 children to read and write. Ivanildo walks with him in the work and in the faith.

Abel is a family doctor and Paty supports literacy and discipleship. They have served in Africa since the 1990s; today they live in Portugal and travel often to Guinea-Bissau.
