Fruit of discipleship
Ivanildo and Genabu are walking with girls from the village in faith and in learning to read. One of them decided to be baptised.
One of the greatest joys of this half-year is the fruit that is beginning to show in discipleship.
Over these months, Ivanildo and Genabu have been walking with two girls from the village, aged 11 and 15. The older one decided to be baptised and follow Jesus.
When she started this journey she could not even read. In recent weeks, with Paty's help, she has managed to put her first letters together and begin forming words, in Fulani and in Portuguese.
These are small steps, but for us they are great victories: a teenager who is starting to read and who, above all, is discovering a new life in Christ.
We ask you to pray especially for her and her family: she is going through a difficult situation and needs God's protection.
